Key Responsibilities
- Pitch, research, and write blog posts and explainers; incorporate relevant links and
visuals.
- Coordinate with policy/data teammates to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Apply basic SEO and accessibility best practices; update older posts as needed.
- Track performance and iterate on headlines, structure, and calls to action.
Qualifications
- Strong writing voice with clips or samples; news judgment and accuracy.
- Comfort publishing in a Content Management System.
- Organized and deadline‑reliable.
Time Commitment
~5–7 hours/week; cadence of 2–3 posts/month.
